I'm the founder of the Intelligent Networks and Information Technologies Group (INIT) and also member of the Computer Networks Group (Grupo
de Redes de Computadores, GRC ) where I work
together with my Ph.D. advisors Prof.
Juan Carlos Cano and Prof.
Carlos T. Calafate, and also Prof.
Pietro Manzoni, the head of the group. Here
you can see my google scholar profile.
My area of interest is vehicular ad-hoc networks
(VANETs).
I am currently working on VANET simulation, intelligent transportation systems, traffic safety,
802.11p, broadcast stom problem, warning messages, traffic
safety, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and
vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communications.
My PhD Thesis was entitled Improving Vehicular
ad hoc Network Protocols to Support Safety Applications
in Realistic Scenarios and received the Best Thesis Award from the Technical University of Valencia.
